About pages are so strange. Aren't they? They're truly the first date of the internet. You get someone's attention long enough to talk about yourself so you share all the good parts and save the weirdness for another time. 

I'm from a small town in Virginia, where I attended the smallest school known to man for most of my life until I graduated 3rd in my class ( out of 17, but still!). I then went to college about an hour away from my hometown and it was a totally different world. I was this little innocent guppy in a big ol' ocean and I was not prepared. So, I switched schools (and majors), and ended up falling for the love of my life: writing. 

I was always a writer at heart; writing songs in my room after a breakup Tay Swift style. I would get excited over writing assignments in school. It was something I excelled at, and something that lit up my soul from the inside out, 

Today, after narrowly escaping a life as a corporate marketing cog, I get to write as my career. Not only that, but I get to write stuff that makes other people (a lot of ) money. And I love that. 

I have clients featured in really amazing publications like The Knot, Style Me Pretty, and The Washington Post.
